Meet the athlete: Middlesex student James Davis, hopeful future Olympian fencer

Meet champion fencer James Davis, who hopes to compete in the upcoming Olympic games.

Two years ago when fencer James Davis enrolled at Middlesex University, he was one of the leading Great Britain junior fencers and ranked 28th senior in the UK at the Men’s Foil event. James is currently ranked 2nd in Great Britain and hopes to make his Olympic debut at London 2012.

This event will focus on James’ achievements and preparations in the lead up to the games:

  • Listen to James talk about his sporting experiences
  • Find out about how his training and preparations are going in the build-up to the games
  • Get the inside story on the latest coaching methods
  • Ask the questions you’ve always wanted to, of a top level athlete

You'll also have a chance to have your photo taken with James.

Time: 6pm

Location: This event will take place in HG19 Lecture Theatre, Hatchcroft Building, Hendon campus.
