    Making Accounting Education Research Relevant:Professional and Academic Perspectives

    The conference is designed to provide:

    • the setting for discussions of the relevance of accounting education research to professional practice amongst a range of other topics in the area of accounting education;
    • a forum for emerging and full papers;
    • workshops at which researchers can develop ideas for projects or discuss current work and ideas;
      opportunities for accounting educators to identify partners (or institutions) for collaborative research;
    • a network of continuing support amongst attendees.

    Emerging papers will describe either the initial stages of a project or the initial analysis of findings.

    Full papers will describe completed projects. Discussant’s comments will be provided on full papers.

    Submission deadline for papers and registration forms is 24 February 2013.

    Keynote Speaker: Professor Dr. Edgard B. Cornacchione, Jnr., Department of Accountancy and Actuarial Science, University of São Paulo, Brazil

    Venue:Hendon Hall Hotel

    The conference will take place in London 5 days after the EAA Annual Congress in Paris which ends on Wednesday 8 May, making it convenient for delegates from outside the United Kingdom to combine the attendance of both events.
