Originally known as Phonographic Performance Limited, PPL was established 80 years ago as a music licensing and performance rights organisation in a joint venture by Decca and EMI.

In the latest music industry workshop as part of our Concerts & Colloquia series, Peter Mason, Legal & Business Affairs Executive at PPL, comes to Middlesex University to discuss the tricky issue of rights and revenues.

The insights and experience offered in Peter's workshop will be invaluable to all performers or anyone considering a career on the business side of the industry.

Our weekly Concerts and Colloquia series brings high-calibre guest speakers and performers from across music to Middlesex.

Hosted by the Music department, all events are free and will be followed by refreshments. Guests can simply turn up, tickets are not required. If you have any questions please contact Nick Nikeforou.
