Our panel led by Dr Marina Prentoulis and Will Podmore discuss the impact of the EU Referendum on the higher education sector

With just weeks to go until the EU Referendum, many of us are asking ourselves 'what does this mean for us in the Higher Education sector?'

Middlesex UCU welcomes you to a public debate, led by Dr Marina Prentoulis and Will Podmore from each side of the debate, to discuss these and the wider issues.

    Speakers

    Dr Marina Prentoulis, Another Europe

    Will Podmore, Grassroots Out

    Programme

Among the questions under discussion will be:

    • How will student numbers be affected by an in or out result?
    • What will be the impact on grant funding (Erasmus exchanges, EU funding streams etc)?
    • How will the referendum result affect our working conditions and pay?
    • What will the result mean for funding for the university sector generally?

All staff, students and guests are welcome to this public meeting, hosted by the University and College Union (UCU).
