The LGBT staff forum will be handing out red ribbons and information leaflets to mark World AIDS day

World AIDS Day is held on the 1st December each year and is an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, show their support for people living with HIV and to commemorate people who have died.

On Thursday 1st December the LGBT staff forum will be handing out red ribbons and information leaflets to mark World AIDS day. Wearing a red ribbon is an opportunity to show support to and solidarity with the millions of people living with HIV as it is the universal symbol of awareness and support for those living with HIV.

If you would like to come along to collect a ribbon or to show your support we will be in the following locations throughout the morning.

    • 9:00am to 11:00am in the Quadrangle
    • 11:00am to 1:30pm in The Grove
