Registering with us is free of charge and ensures that your property is advertised directly to our students quickly and easily via our dedicated accommodation website middlesexstudentpad. All properties must be fully furnished and within reasonable travelling distances from our campuses. All our listings are impartial and inclusion does not imply recommendation by the University. Please note that we reserve the right to remove your details from our listings at our discretion.

Please note, our Trent Park campus is due to close at the start of the new academic year, therefore we do not require any offers of accommodation for this campus.

Q When do Middlesex University students look for accommodation?

A The peak times are the months leading up to the start of the academic year in September. We also have a small intake in January. However there are always a number of students looking for accommodation throughout the year.

Q What documentation do I need to provide in order to advertise my property?

A In addition to your fully completed registration forms we will need to see a copy of the current gas safety certificate for the property.

Q What type of insurance do landlords need?

A Having the right insurance in place is essential. Landlords will typically need additional cover as standard homeowner’s insurance is not designed for landlords and their rental properties. You must advise your insurance company that the property is being let. In addition to buildings and contents cover you should also check to ensure you have sufficient public liability cover. A popular insurer of landlords is Endsleigh Insurance.
