Help and support
We provide academic computing support to all our students. Our support services include include helpdesks, advisory services, IT skills training, comprehensive helpsheets and guides and a computer booking system.
We offer IT skills training, help and support
We also provide colour printers, photocopiers and a range of other printing facilities on each campus, linked to online accounts, topped up and serviced at conveniently sited payment kiosks.
Our support centre opening hours vary by campus and through the year but normally extend into the evenings and weekends and are extended further close to coursework deadline dates.
We want our students to be mobile so even when you are not on campus you can contact the University at any time, from anywhere, through our Web Helpdesk service – the easy way to get your queries answered online. The helpdesk is open 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
The helpdesk is not just used by current students but is open to anyone and is a useful source of advice and information for those thinking of studying at Middlesex and for students who have been offered a place but have not yet enrolled. Potential students are also given help and guidance through the bridging materials on our virtual learning environment once you have accepted a place. webhelpdesk.mdx.ac.uk
You can even get simple queries solved by text message from your mobile phone and you will receive your reply by text.
