International campuses
Middlesex University is a world leader in providing a British higher education from campuses around the world. In recent years, the University has expanded from its foundations as a leading provider in London to become a major presence in key regions of the world.
Middlesex offers its students the unrivalled opportunity to gain a British degree from London’s leading modern University whilst being based at exciting locations around the world:
- Dubai - the Middle East’s global city and centre of commerce. The campus is situated in the prestigious Knowledge Village with access to state-of-the-art facilities.
- Mauritius - a rapidly evolving knowledge hub in the African region. A perfect study destination blending different cultures and reasonable living costs in a beautiful and peaceful setting.
Choose your campus or combine destinations
Our international campuses provide options both for students wishing to study nearer to home and those wishing to take advantage of combining study with the experience of living and working overseas. All our courses are offered in London which means that study at Dubai or Mauritius can easily be combined with a year or more at our beautiful campuses in London. Likewise students starting off in London may be able to transfer to other campuses, see the list of the available courses on our study at overseas campuses page.
Our international heritage
Much of Middlesex University’s recent history has taken place on a global stage. Even in London over 30% of our students come from 140 different countries. During the early 1990s the University opened a series of offices in countries in Africa, East Asia, Europe, the Middle East, North America and South Asia. These offices recruit new students and provide support for vital issues such as visa applications.
In 2005 Middlesex opened its first overseas campus - Middlesex University Dubai – which now provides 23 degree programmes for over 1700 students from 50 different countries. The new Middlesex University Mauritius Branch Campus is the second overseas campus that welcomed the first intake of students in February 2010.
In addition to establishing our own campuses in key regions, Middlesex works in partnership with prestigious educational institutions around the world so that students can study internationally-recognised Middlesex qualifications in their own countries. More than 10,000 students in various parts of the world are studying on Middlesex University programmes outside the UK.
Quality assured
The Quality Assurance Agency, the UK Government body responsible for quality and standards in higher education, has given Middlesex University the highest possible rating for quality for both its education in the UK and that delivered on our campuses and by our partner institutions abroad.
In 2011, we were awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in recognition of our substantial contribution to international education.
