Hendon is a slice of real London where eating out is authentic, pubs are eclectic, and being a student is fun. There's plenty to do on and around campus, with an abundance of shops, bars, cafes and beautiful local parks.
Check out Usher Hall's location on Google Maps.
Usher Hall is a stone's throw from Hendon Central Underground station (Northern Line) and the overground Hendon train station which connect you to everything central London has to offer.
We have a limited number of rooms available, and as such, prioritise first-year students who have made us their first choice university, and those who are travelling the furthest distance to join us. Priority generally goes to full-time international students from outside the EU, after which we then try to accommodate UK and EU students who are based furthest away.
Prospective students living within the M25 can apply for accommodation, but these applications will not be considered until the middle of September.
Our halls are all managed by Viridian Housing, a housing association that specialises in student accommodation. We're committed to providing a friendly, safe, student-focused environment – and we've signed up to national codes of standards for accommodation to ensure this. For Usher Hall Viridian has signed up to the ANUK code.
Each year, Viridian Housing sponsor an award for students who have made a difference to society. It helps students achieve their goals by providing more than £5,000 towards the cost of accommodation. For more information on this award, visit our Study4Success page.
