Tim Campbell MBE was guest speaker at a diverse and successful networking evening held at Allianz Park on Wednesday 13 January.
Designed to promote partnerships and entrepreneurship, the Winter Networking Evening saw more than 90 business people from a wide range of industries attend the event, which was hosted by Saracens FC – a strategic partner of Middlesex University.
The former Middlesex student and winner of the first series of The Apprentice offered inspiring words about entrepreneurship, apprenticeships and networking during his talk. He went on to highlight important areas for business to consider including customer service, branding and partnership working.
David Williams, Director of Corporate Engagement at Middlesex, said: "We have a large and growing reputation working with businesses and it is great to host occasions like this to connect them together and seek real work impact, while at the same time introducing new clients into the group.
"Middlesex University and the Corporate Engagement Team are keen to work with small and medium-sized clients to meet their business needs and our new set of Business Acceleration Programmes was one of the focusses of the evening.
"Feedback from business has been good and the Business Acceleration Programmes will launch in the spring 2016. They have been developed with business input so we are confident they will hit the mark, impact, and help businesses grow."
The event also generated interest for the recently-launched Entrepreneurial Barnet Competition. Sponsored by Hammerson and in partnership with Barnet Southgate College and the London Borough of Barnet, we are encouraging new businesses to enter and gain valuable exposure as well as financial input.
