Ever fancied having a go at the oldest racquet sport in the world? You can at Hendon. Just come down to the Middlesex University Real Tennis Club (MURTC) at our Hendon campus to check out the court, where you will be given a personal welcome from our friendly staff.
The Court was gifted by the Luck-Hille foundation to Middlesex University and we reckon it's the best court in the world. Students and staff just need to hold a Middlesex University Sports Membership to allow them to make use of the court (court fees and coaching costs are extra). Private membership for community members are also available at reasonable rates.

The Pro Shop
Whether you want to book a lesson or court time with some friends, buy a racquet of your own or treat yourself to some Real Tennis sports clothing then the Pro Shop at MURTC is the place.
We have a comprehensive range of clothing including shorts, polo shirts, jackets, hoodies, T-shirts and fleeces, all at very reasonable prices. The Real Tennis team also offer a racquet stringing service for customers.

Organised sessions: come and give Real Tennis a try
- Student introductory sessions 2pm to 4pm on Tuesdays free to all students with a valid sports membership
- Club nights (everyone invited for happy hour) 6pm to 10pm every Wednesday during term time.
- Staff sessions Fridays 12pm to 1pm.
