Geography and Environmental Science

Geography research at Middlesex University takes place within our internationally recognised Flood Hazard Research Centre (FHRC) andĀ Urban Pollution Research Centre (UPRC). The work of these centres encompasses both the social and environmental aspects of flooding, environmental management and associated fields of study. Particular research concerns include:

  • hazard and risk management, primarily embracing flood, coastal and pollution risk management
  • water and associated land management, overlapping into catchment use and soil management.
