Human-Computer Interaction
Research in this area focuses on how people manipulate and interact with information, how individuals and teams use computers to control systems and processes, and how these should be designed and built to support such activities.
Current interests include: HCI in critical systems (e.g. air traffic control, nuclear power plants, etc.); information representation and visual analytics; universal access; interaction design; social and ethical aspects of HCI.
