Translation and Interpreting
The Centre for Research in Translation and Interpreting promotes research in translation and Interpreting in four main ways:
- It provides a focus for staff research in Interpreting and in Translation
- It runs a series of research seminars for MA and PhD students and staff with a number of external, invited speakers
- It provides supervision for research students
- It provides a site for Academic Visitors.
Staff associated with the Centre contribute to its research activities and to its external visibility through their publications and through attendance at conferences. They contribute planning and teaching on the MA and BA programmes in Translation and Interpreting, as well as being actively engaged in individual research.
