Law

The Department of Law supports doctrinal, historical, comparative and socio-legal research. Increasingly, research is collaborative with other disciplines, particularly those allied to business, especially human resource management, business and management, and economics. This is reflected in the long established focus on employment law and the growing emphasis on international business law and its interface with issues of public interest, accountability and ethics.

Specific areas of interest are:

  • Labour/ Employment Law, Discrimination and Migration
  • International Business, Harmonisation, Accountability, Public Interest Disclosures and Ethical Concerns
  • EU Law/EU Social and Cultural Law
  • Property Law
