Psychology
Research in Psychology at Middlesex University concentrates on the following areas:
- Language and communication, including the cognitive neuropsychology of language, orthography and visual word recognition, infant communication. See the Language and Communication Research Group.
- Applied health and social psychology, with an emphasis on sport and exercise psychology, and additionally the social psychology of conflict and women’s health. See the Applied Health and Social Psychology Research Group.
- Applied cognitive psychology, including applications of virtual reality, spatial navigation, human olfaction, mental imagery and creativity, computer-based studies of cognition and emotion and psychometric testing. See the Applied Cognition Research Group.
