Work-Based Learning and Professional Studies

Research in this area takes place within the Work Based Learning Research Centre.

Members of the WBLRC engage in a wide range of research activities within the context of organisational and individual learning and change in higher education; for example, developing work based learning as a field of study, intellectual capital, accreditation, assessment, innovations in partnering with organisations, and virtual leaning environments that support effective WBL. The centre’s expertise contributes to work based learning modules and programmes and doctoral-level research degrees.
