I am an Associate professor and a Senior Teaching fellow of the Higher education, in the Faculty of Health Social Care and Education. As the Deputy Dean for Education for the faculty, I am therefore in charge of ensuring our high teaching standards are maintained and we are at the forefront of innovation in our teaching and programme design, as well as constantly reviewing our portfolio. I have a keen interest on the integration of technology into programmes to enhance the student experience and help increase engagement in the subject area and linked achievement of the students. I encourage the use of elearning in the team in a manner which does not replace face-to-face learning sessions, but rather supports them.
