Chris is a lecturer in Strength & Conditioning for the London Sport Institute. He is an accredited strength and conditioning coach with the UK Strength & Conditioning Association and completed his MSc Strength & Conditioning here at Middlesex in 2011-2012. Since completing his MSc, Chris taught part-time at Middlesex for 2 years on both under-graduate and post-graduate programmes. His background of working for a physiotherapy company prior to Middlesex University, meant that he was able to teach across a range of academic disciplines, including strength & conditioning, corrective exercise and movement screening.

Chris' teaching interests lie in the fundamentals of strength and conditioning. This includes understanding the most up to date methods for enhancing strength and power, the acute and long-term effects of post-activation potentiation and understanding further methods for assessing movement quality via movement screening protocols. His more recent focus has been on different methods of detecting asymmetries and determining whether these have a detrimental effect on performance and injury risk.
