Adam Edwards is an experienced library manager whose career has focused on the student experience and supporting academic staff through subject liaison, resource management and information literacy teaching. He manages a team of librarians and support staff providing information resources for the Faculties of Business and Law and Science and Technology. Each year his team deliver hundreds of hours of information literacy teaching and 121 support for students and staff.

He was a founder member of the UK Libraries Plus team who created the UK wide university library access scheme which is now SCONUL Access.

Adam teaches information literacy to students at all levels. He is particularly interested in embedding this more widely in the curriculum and in methods to improve student engagement and knowledge retention. He has collaborated with Vanessa Hill and other Middlesex University Library team members to develop new ways to teach information literacy.
