Frauke joined Middlesex University Psychology Department as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in September 2012, after graduating at Middlesex University with a BSc in Psychology with Counselling Skills in July 2012.
Frauke also became a part time doctoral student in January 2013. Her research aims to develop an insight to the experience of growing old for adults with autism through a qualitative exploration. This research will complement and broaden the current fragmented picture of autism in old age, as the little available research on this topic tends to focus on either cognitive aspects of ageing with autism, or on policy driven quality of life surveys to inform service providers.
