Dr. Elmer joined Middlesex in November 2015. Prior to this he held a mixture of research and teaching positions at RWTH-Aachen, Queen Mary University of London, Bristol and Aberdeen.
Qualifications:
My research interests focus mainly on invariant theory and its applications. I'm also interested in representation theory and cohomology of finite or infinite algebraic groups, especially in the modular case.
