Gueorgui Kolev obtained his PhD degree in Economics, Finance and Management from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, Spain. He previously taught at EDHEC Business School, Lille/Nice, France (Department of Accounting, Law, Finance and Economics), and at London School of Economics and Political Science, London, UK (Department of Finance).

Research interests are in the fields of corporate finance and governance, executive compensation, behavioural finance, behavioural decision making, empirical asset pricing, empirical macro finance, econometrics, forecasting, policy evaluation.
