Sue joined Middlesex University in 1989 having previously studied as a mature student at Middlesex and then Birkbeck College. Since this time, Sue has established a broad range of teaching across sociology, criminology and social policy, and considerable administrative experience as former Curriculum Leader and then Director of Programmes for undergraduate and postgraduate studies within the Department of Criminology and Sociology.
