I have experience of teaching in early years, primary education, further and higher education and work-based learning. I am passionate about high quality teaching, inclusion and differentiated learning; and I enjoy the challenges and possibilities of using new technology in teaching and learning to widen access and increase engagement.
My Masters dissertation focused on gathering evidence relating to raising standards in teacher education and continuing professional development; and my doctoral thesis explored issues relating to emotional labour, supervision and supported professional reflection in early years practice.
