Area of speciality is Mental Health Law. Working in front line services as an Approved Mental Health Professional, managing crisis referrals and Court Diversion, has equipped me with a strong foundation in the practical application of the law. Being able to link and validate the theoritical teaching to real world examples has been of great benefit to my students. I teach Law to under graduate and post graduate nursing programmes.
