Dr Hamiisi Junior Nsubuga is a Lecturer in Law at Middlesex University London. He obtained his LL.B. from the University of London, LL.M. (Corporate Law) and a PhD (Law) from Nottingham Trent University. Dr Hamiisi is a Member of INSOL International (YANIL), INSOL Europe and the British Institute of International and Comparative Law. His research areas are: Corporate Law, International Corporate Law, Comparative Insolvency Law (UK, USA and Uganda) and Comparative Labour Law and Legal Theory. His PhD Thesis centred on ‘The Rights of Employees on Corporate Insolvency: A UK and US Perspective’. Dr Hamiisi has published academic and scholarly articles in peer-reviewed law journals especially on corporate rescue law, employment protection law and social policy imperatives of the UK and US jurisdictions.
