Chandana Sanyal joined Middlesex University as Lecturer in 2009. She previously worked in the public sector as a senior manager and human resource development practitioner.

Project Title: Understand the impact of individual coaching on coaches, coachees and MSF more broadly
Mentoring and Coaching Hub (MCHub) has commissioned the research team at Middlesex University Business School to develop and perform the first evaluation of their Individual Coaching activities, including the Coach and Coachee. The MCHub is also interested in developing and packaging tools around this process that they can share within the MSF movement.

Project Title: Exploring the Impacts of Volunteer Business Mentoring on Young Entrepreneurs across the YBI Network
Conduct a global entrepreneurial mentoring research across 42 countries to evaluate how volunteer business mentoring assists young entrepreneurs, both in terms of their business start-up and development, but also their personal development and entrepreneurial journey.
The two-year longitudinal research has been completed; now focusing on research outputs.

Design and deliver a work-based learning programme with action learning to support Professional Development and Management Practice of managerial leaders.
2013–2018 Post Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Management/Strategic Leadership
Design and deliver a leadership programme with action learning for an English NHS Mental Health Trust, aimed at improving the leadership capacity of managers.
2014-2016 Fostering Fairer Decision Making
Design and deliver a programme to address underlying causes of biased decision-making and develop strategies to make fairer decisions in service management and in relation to equality and diversity. Action Research approach applied to review and evaluate the programme.
2012-2014 International Professional Mentoring Scheme
Worked with Multi-National Corporations in India to develop, implement and evaluate an international e-mentoring scheme.
2012-2013 London Borough of Barnet Graduate NEET Mentoring Scheme Delivered workshops on employability skills to unemployed graduates on the programme and developed and implemented an evaluation strategy.
2012-2014 UK Public Sector Developmental Mentoring Scheme.
Supported the delivery and implementation of this scheme and designed the evaluation interventions for the programme.
