Emmanouil Stafylarakis is a Lecturer in Adult Nursing at Middlesex University having an enormous interest in teaching, assessing, and supporting students in Nursing and Nursing Associates curricula. Emmanouil is known as Manos both in Academia and in Multidisciplinary Clinical Teams. His clinical background is in Perioperative Nursing being a Registered Nurse in the Nursing and Midwifery Council in the UK specialising in Scrub, Circulating, Leadership, and Practice Education skills in the operating theatres. Manos is teaching and facilitating nursing students in subjects of scientific concepts of nursing and critical thinking. He is a simulation online platforms administrator facilitating students' engagement with safe clinical practice and progression.
Manos has completed his undergraduate studies having gained 4 studentships. His last studentship was about the undergraduate semester in Nursing Practice completion in two University Hospitals in Florence in Italy in 2005 through the Erasmus-Socrates Programme obtaining certified feedback of exceptional cannulation skills in patients triage in one of the practice placements; Pronto Soccorso (A&E), Ospedale di Azienda USL 4 di Prato, Tuscany, Italy.
