Alberto Arturo Vergani is a Postdoc Research Fellow in Neuromorphic Computing at Middlesex University in London. He work in the NEAL project, headed by Prof. Chris Hucyk (www.cwa.mdx.ac.uk/NEAL/NEAL.html), that is part of the Human Brain Project - SP9 Neuromorphic Platform.
He achieved the PhD in Computer Science and Computational Mathematics (XXXI cycle) as ESR at CRAIIM, Centre for Research in Image Analysis and Medical Informatics, headed by Prof.ssa Elisabetta Binaghi, both at University of Insubria, Dipartment of Theoretical and Applied Science, Varese, Italy.
Alberto graduated in Cognitive Science at University of Milan with Prof.ssa Folgieri and Prof. Prini and in Psychology (Neuroscience curriculum) at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan with Dr.ssa Perani.
Integrated to his education, he attended several PRACE courses on HPC in Italy at CINECA and in Spain at BSC.Before to start the PhD, he was a Postgraduate student at International Center of Theoretical Physics in Trieste.
