Paul Walker is an economist specialising in banking. He has an undergraduate degree form Bath University, a masters from Birmingham University and a PhD from Reading University. He joined the Economics Department at Middlesex in 2001. Previous positions include Surrey University, Portsmouth University and Liverpool John Moores University. He has also worked for an American university for one year and held short-term finance positions in manufacturing and insurance companies. In addition he has also held External Examining positions at Greenwich, Portsmouth, and Liverpool John Moores universities and currently is the External at IFS University College (of the Institute of Bankers) for the Professional Certificate in Banking.
