Dr Andrea Werner has been working at the Business School since 2008. Prior to joining Middlesex University, she worked as a Researcher for the Institute of Business Ethics in London. Andrea co-leads the cross-disciplinary Business Ethics, Accountability and Governance research cluster based in the Business School and coordinates the PhD programme in the Management, Leadership and Organisations Department.

In February 2016, Dr Andrea Werner, together with Dr Ming Lim (University of Leicester), won a research grant from the Barrow Cadbury Trust to investigate the benefits and challenges of the adoption of the Living Wage in SMEs. A recorded presentation on the findings can be found here.
