Dale began his career in the media industry in 2001 working within production companies but more recently as a freelance professional through his own company, Good Egg Media Ltd.
Throughout his career he has worked with global clients such as the MTV, Warner Bros, Channel 4, World Health Organization, Aquafresh, Honda, Eurosport and London Business School. He has filmed all over the world from South Africa to Australia, Mexico, India, the United States and Europe.
Projects have included TV commercials, corporate and not-for-profit videos, a cinema ad campaign, TV and web promos and public awareness DVDs. Dale's skill base is an all-round Video Production professional with experience in Producing, Directing, Camera Work (video and stills) and Editing.
Alongside his professional work, Dale has been teaching part time at University since 2008. Modules include Single Camera, Multi-Camera, Entertainment, Documentary and Drama. In 2012 Dale completed is PGCHE.
Learning & Teaching Interests
Dale's main focus with his teaching is 'collaboration' and 'professionalism'. He prepares students for employment through workshops, technical classes, practical experience and extra curriculum activities.
He was nominated for the MDXSU Teaching Award for 'Most Inspiring Teacher Award' in 2014.

Dale lists his research interests within teaching as 'improvement of teamwork and collaboration' and 'the use of teamwork as an educational tool'.
His professional research includes 'working with children', 'new technology' and 'the use of social media within the industry'.
