Laura Wilson is a Senior Lecturer in Exercise Physiology and Nutrition within the London Sport Institute based at Middlesex University. Laura is the programme leader for the MSc in Sport and Exercise Nutrition.

Laura specialises in Exercise Physiology and Nutrition and has particular interests in EIMD, recovery interventions, thermal physiology and body composition. Laura is the programme leader for the MSc in Sport and Exercise Nutrition, and leads modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
Laura currently has three PhD students with projects encompassing the impact of the Mayor's Golden Kilometre on physical literacy in school-aged children, the anthropometric and physical characteristics of English female Premiership rugby players, and the prevalence, risk, and impact of low energy availability in Netball players.
Lauras research profile focuses predominantly on exercise induced muscle damage and recovery.
