Sian Woodward is Collections Manager of the Museum of Domestic Design & Architecture (www.moda.mdx.ac.uk), where she is responsible for the management of the museum’s collections to enable access for students, researchers, members of the public and creative practitioners.
An expert in investigating and implementing technology in a heritage environment, rights management, documentation and standards, Sian qualified from the University of Leicester with a Masters Degree in Museum Studies, following a degree in Ancient and Modern History at the University of Oxford.

Sian is an associate Member of the Museums Association, and has an ILM Level 3 Award in First Line Management.
Sian's areas of interest include investigating and implementing technology in a heritage environment, researching and developing the best methodologies and environments for harmonising, accessing and re-using collection data, Digital Asset Management and Preservation and Intellectual Property Rights.
