The Department of Natural Sciences in the Faculty of Science and Technology at Middlesex University delivers high quality teaching, research and consultancy across several disciplines including biomedical and healthcare sciences, biology, environmental health, environmental and public health, occupational health and safety and risk management.

A team of MDX students and lecturers helped bring a pilot immersive disaster narrative experience, aimed at inspiring children about science and creativity, to this month's Bradford Science Festival.
BBC presenter and environmentalist Anita Rani spent a day in a Middlesex science lab with MDX staff, Leonardo Munoz and Alejandra Baez, analysing wet wipe samples, to assess their plastic content.
