Develop your own unique creative identity

There’s no better place to kick-start a career in fashion whilst maintaining your individuality. Whereas other institutions have their own ‘house style’, here at MDX the work you produce reflects you and not the place you studied. Whether you’re looking for a career as a stylist, designer or in PR, we have a course for you.

Why study Fashion at Middlesex?

Employability and reaching your career goals are at the heart of all of Middlesex’ fashion degrees and design degrees. Alumni include own-brand designers Martine Rose, Zoe Broach (Boudicca), Christopher Raeburn, and others have gone on to work for the likes of Burberry, Tom Ford and Givenchy.

What will you gain?

Our world-class fashion facilities across both fashion and textiles include knit, weave, print, laser cutting, industrial sewing machinery, photographic studios and 3D workshops. You will have the opportunity to learn from and network with a series of high profiling visiting lecturers and present your work at our yearly Degree Show with catwalk shows and much more.

What are your career prospects?

All fashion courses incorporate a six-week work placement, where you will get real life experience in the global fashion industry. Previous students completed placements at the likes of Alexander McQueen, Matty Bovan, Mary Katrantzou, Simone Rocha and Richard Quinn.
