London's St Pancras Hotel recently played host to a showcase of some of the best work by 22 Middlesex University undergraduates in their final year of Fashion Design and Fashion Textiles. The participating students were handpicked from over 100 entrants by an elite industry panel of fashion designers and experts from the likes of GQ Style, the Metro, i-D magazine and ShowStudio.
The skills and creativity of Middlesex's fashion students shone through in a playful, energetic display of colours and textures. Meg Osborne, Acting Director of Programmes, described the show as "fantastic, entertaining, joyful and optimistic" and the reaction of attending fashion scouts, press and other industry professionals was very much the same, with students praised for the imagination and diversity of their creations.
