The health coaching workshop is underpinned by evidence-based practice in person-centred approaches. It will enable you to gain knowledge and confidence in delivering health coaching client-centred conversations about behaviour change. This workshop will enable you to gain confidence in utilising evidence-based approaches such as health coaching and motivational interviewing skills as part of your CPD development. The Health Coaching Skills workshop is appropriate for nurses, social workers, social prescribing link workers, care coordinators, people involved in delivering personalised care and support plans, and similar roles.
This workshop will help you develop your practice by learning the following:
Study mode: Face-to-face delivery, every candidate will receive a skills workbook, handouts and reading materials for pre- and post-session. The exercises in class will be delivered working in pairs and small group and role play exercises followed by discussion, group feedback and recap/quiz and evaluation.
