The ability to react fast to an injury or emergency in the workplace is a key skill for any employee or manager. Indeed, with the right training, you can minimise work days lost and even save colleagues' lives.
Employees are required by law to provide adequate and appropriate equipment, facilities and personnel to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work. In most cases an employer risk assessment will be needed to assess the amount of first aid cover needed. For more information on employers' first aid requirements, please visit the HSE website.
At Middlesex, we offer a range of CPR and First Aid courses to suit your needs and our First Aid Training Team is approved by Qualsafe Awards, an Awarding Organisation recognised by Ofqual to offer regulated qualifications.
We currently have dates for the following courses but other courses such as paediatric first aid can be provided on request by emailing the team. Courses can be run in your workplace or in our purpose-built skills centre on our Hendon Campus. Prices for group bookings are available on request, please contact Fiona Suthers on 07799 673117.
Pre-requisites: Candidates must be physically able to carry out the procedures detailed in the course outline.
