UK Black Pride returns on Sunday 7 July, and this year the celebration is moving to a larger location: Haggerston Park in east London.
Founded in 2006, UK Black Pride is Europe’s largest celebration for people of African, Asian, Caribbean, Middle Eastern and Latin American descent who identify as LGBT+ and their friends. It’s free to attend, and we hope to be joined by colleagues, students and friends from other universities across London.
Everyone is welcome to join us for our first community picnic in the park; just bring along some food and refreshments – you might even want to bring along something traditional from your home country!
We will also be walking in the Pride in London Parade on Saturday 6 July.
