Join us for a two hour workshop and learn how your research could have an impact at the UK Parliament.
This session will be delivered by the Knowledge Exchange unit from UK Parliament, and will cover:
You will leave with a good understanding of how to engage with Parliament through research, some practical actions to take and knowing where to find resources, contacts and advice.
This is a ‘virtual’ training event: the presenters will be hosted by the University of Leeds, and the training will be live streamed to Middlesex, Cranfield and Wolverhampton Universities. It will include interactive discussions and opportunities to submit questions directly to the presenters throughout and after the session.
The UK Parliament’s Knowledge Exchange Unit delivers a UK-wide monthly training series called ‘UK Parliament for Researchers’ (UKPfR) which explore how to use research to engage with Parliament.
They are able to train 40 people at each event, but demand is much higher; every event in the 2018/19 series sold out and had a waiting list. This event with satellite venues is the first of its kind to offer a live-streamed webinar-style event to reach a wider audience and higher numbers of participants for the UKPfR series.
