Seeking Exposure for New Music Artists in the Digital Era
Join us for Neil’s Guest Talk, which will address the thorny issue of trying to maximise exposure for new artists, whether you are an artist, manager, or small label. The session will cover areas such as streaming playlists, the use (or otherwise) of pluggers, other forms of PR, and what you need to know to avoid being scammed!
Dr Neil March is an Arts Council England-supported promoter and broadcaster, a composer and recording artist, and moderator and author of Fresh on the Net and Trust the Doc. He also lectures at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance, London. He was awarded his Ph.D. in Music Composition from Goldsmiths, University of London and has been supported by BBC Introducing, for whom he performed with his live ensemble The Music of Sound at Latitude in 2017.
