Ravensfield Theatre, Middlesex University, The Burroughs, Hendon, London, NW4 4BT
The award-winning Proper Job Theatre Company are returning to Middlesex on 20 October as part of a nationwide tour for their new show Medusa, which they'll be performing for our new cohort of BA and MA Theatre Arts students.
Written by Helen Mort (“among the brightest stars in the sparkling new constellation of young British poets”; Carol Ann Duffy), Medusa is the second part of Proper Job's Monster trilogy.
"We are going to tell a story,
one that is not often told;
the story of a woman who exacts her revenge on the men that destroyed her
and the gods that cursed her.
We are going to tell the story of Medusa…the truth.”
Proper Job last performed at Middlesex in October 2016 with their one-man show The Shape of Things To Come, based on H.G. Wells' novel.
The company are at the country's forefront of Vsevold Meyerhold's biomechanics training method, which is rarely practiced in Britain, and they have been delivering training in biomechanics and physical theatre to first year BA Theatre Arts students for over a decade.
Tickets are available via the Middlesex Theatre Arts website
