Philosophy and history of higher education – Professor Paul Gibbs

It is an exciting time for all of those with an interest in higher education and the new MA Higher Education will offer insights from experts on the key issues and opportunities for debate and research into them. The MA Higher Education is intended for those interested in the study of Higher Education as its own field of study. The programme includes a comprehensive range of modules which reflects the changing landscape of Higher Education. The new programme is rich in opportunities to engage in studies of pedagogical practices, international perspectives and many more topics which will be explored with you when we meet.

To help you decide if this programme is for you we are offering four taster sessions of 30 minutes presentations followed by a discussion on the topic and on the programme. To book a place for all or any of these seminars please visit the Centre for Education Research and Scholarships (CERS) website.
