Join us for our interactive celebration of all things STEM

As part of British Science Week, Middlesex University is hosting a STEM Festival, offering you the opportunity to take part in various interactive activities and demonstrations exploring science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

The event will be a chance to find out more about our ground-breaking research and courses, and speak to the our professors and students about their work - from robotics to feeding Venus Flytraps!

Highlights of the festival include:

Sports science section

Put your maximal strength and power to the test by using our cutting-edge sports science equipment.

Super Mario games

Use your physical skills to jump, run and duck your way to the next level on our visual Powerwall display.

Loco motion

Have a go at Loco motion. Buckle your harness, put on your Oculus Rift, relax and enjoy the ride (although you might not be sitting comfortably!)

Feed the Venus Flytraps

Feed the Venus Flytraps and identify some of their prey.

VALCRI: Visual Analytics for sense-making in Criminal Intelligence Analysis
