A free screening of God's Own Country

Students staff and friends of the University are invited to join us to watch a screening of the BAFTA nominated movie "God's Own Country" on Wednesday 20th June 2018, 17:15 - 21:30.

Captivating and broodingly beautiful, God's Own Country is the award winning British debut feature from writer/director Francis Lee. This bracingly open-hearted and moving story is set in the heart of rural Yorkshire where a young farmer Johnny Saxby numbs his daily frustrations with binge drinking and casual sex, until the arrival of a Romanian migrant worker for lambing season ignites an intense relationship that sets Johnny on a new path.
