5th West London Borough Fairtrade debate hosted and supported by Middlesex University Prestigious panel taking your questions on "Fairtrade, What's the point"?

The Panel will tackle the question from different perspectives.

Councillor Ayfer Orhan Mike Gidney - CEO of Fairtrade Foundation.

Dr Doirean Wilson, Middlesex University -  is a senior lecturer and diversity lead for Middlesex University London.She is also Chair of the University’s high profile `EDUBATE` current affairs panel discussion series, which she launched, and is a Visiting Professor of Religion & Multiculturalism at the Joint Council of Churches for All Nation's School of Theology, Leadership and Management. Additionally, she is a member of the University’s Gender and Diversity Research Cluster.

Ian Bretman -  was head of commercial relations at the Fairtrade Foundation from 1997 to 2001 and then deputy director until 2008. He then served as the executive vice-chair of Fairtrade International until 2012. He currently works as an independent advisor to the three Fairtrade Producer Networks in Africa/Middle East, Asia/Pacific and Latin America/Caribbean.

Dr Adotey Bing-Pappoe - is a Ghanaian political economist currently senior lecturer in economics at the University of Greenwich. His research interest are worker’s cooperatives, Development and Industrial policy, regional integration, and income and wealth inequality.
