Studying Business Management

What to look forward to

Our Business Management programmes welcome hundreds of students every year from all over the world, so you'll be connected to our enterprising student and alumni community.

Develop your holistic understanding of organisations as well as your practical skills and competencies to succeed on your chosen pathway.

Focused on the skills you need for the future

You’ll learn through a combination of theory-based courses and workshops.

Our workshops will encourage you to work collaboratively with your classmates through case study analysis, class discussions, or creative projects like our Business Game, which simulates a real business pitch.

No matter if you study our general BA programme or one of our specialist areas, you’ll get access to a wide range of optional modules in a variety of subject areas.

Whether you’re interested in working in marketing, finance, business law, or even looking to start your own business, you can tailor your degree to whatever your career ambitions may be.

  • You'll fall in love with our eco-friendly campus

As a department, we understand the importance of quality education and how crucial in-person teaching is. On top of that, you get to immerse yourself in one of the most beautiful campuses in London.

Seminars will always be in-person as these sessions require qualitative interactions that will enhance your learning, debating skills and networking opportunities. These sessions enable our students to build confidence, friendships and a greater understanding of the topics discussed.

Oh, and there is potential for our students to study abroad for a certain period of time at our Dubai or Mauritius campuses.

  • We enable your entrepreneurial potential

Students develop the entrepreneurial skills needed to launch social enterprises and manage innovation as a key success factor in a dynamic business environment. A well recognised entrepreneur and former Middlesex student is Tim Campbell. Tim participated is the latest series of The Apprentice as an advisor for Lord Sugar, assisting in the selection process for his next business partner.

The statistic speaks for itself. One in seven Middlesex students go on to manage or own their own business.

The support for entrepreneurs goes beyond the course teaching at Middlesex. All students within our Business School have free access to the Enterprise Development Hub, with support provided by training in a wide range of workshops, seminars, mentoring and events.

The Enterprise Development Hub experience is also brilliant for enhancing your future employability prospects.

Unlock a world of potential for your studies and work experience

One of the most significant advantages of studying Business Management with our Business School is the opportunities to secure placements with credible employers, whilst also being able to transfer abroad to one of our global campuses in Dubai or Mauritius.

Certain programmes also allows students to take advantage of the study abroad opportunities embedded in their programme. Students can study in our partner universities in the USA, UAE, China, Europe and more!

MDXBusinessConnect is the Business School’s very own professional networking platform that provides opportunities not only for current students to interact with alumni and industry professionals, but also continues to be a resource for you post-graduation.
