You’ll have our five studio theatres at your fingertips, designed and equipped with maximum flexibility in mind to facilitate your ideas.
Our main house Theatre is equipped with great access to all the ancillary spaces such as dressing rooms, workshops etc.
We have the latest technological equipment for you to use, such as up-to-date LED lighting, 3D printing, specialist workshops, holographic gauzes, VR and more!
Both Theatre Arts programmes will be taught almost exclusively on campus in the studio. Practice-based workshops, fully staged productions, technique classes and seminars will all be face to face, allowing you to make the most of our wonderful facilities, connect with your classmates and be a part of our creative community. Some meetings and tutorials will be be on zoom to give you extra flexibility, but all core classes will be on campus so you can make the most of our vibrant learning environment that supports collaboration and exploration.
You’ll be taught by professional practitioners from all areas across theatre, including designers, directors and stage managers and will collaborate on full-scale theatre productions. You’ll have the choice to explore optional skills you may not have previously been exposed to, including puppetry-making, writing, dramaturgy and much more, as well as your core bespoke technique and skills sessions in acting, design and directing.
The team is looking forward to welcoming you to Middlesex! With our placement programme, state-of-the- art facilities and dedicated team, we’re excited to see you develop into a professional, ready to take on the theatre industry.
